Welcome home Breah!
I arrived home from my eigth grade Washington D.C. trip on May, 4, which is my dad's birthday as well. I had a hard time getting sleep on the longggg bus ride through the night. So, I was looking forward to being able to sleep the whole next day away! Little did I know this wouldn't be the case! As I am getting of the bus, I see my mom waiting for me and the first this she says is their is something waiting for you at home and she gave off a little smirk. I honestly didnt think much of it ! I just thought she got me a gift or made me my favorite meal! We arrived home and as I am walking up to my house I see two unfamiliar faces looking out the front door. They were two of the cutest faces I have ever seen. First I saw a young boy looking out the window; his eyes filled with fear, worry, and curosity. Then I saw a little girl with huge eyes and crazy black hair waving to me. I then knew we added two new foster children to our family. Without ever meeting these kids, knowing what they've been through, or any of their previous life, they were accepted into my home with open arms. When starting to foster, my family planned on one girl but God works in so many crazy ways. We now have three foster childern under the age of five, two boys and one girl. I have always wanted a sister and I am so thankful to be sharing my room and life with my little Kate! It's amazing how everything always works out and how far a lot of love and acceptance can go. This week I am competing for Miss Ohio's Outstanding Teen and no matter the outcome I am proud of my accomplishments and everyday I am reminded of why I do this ! I wouldn't change it for the world!

What's New....
I have been very busy these past few months. A lot has changed in the Anderson home . Here is just a quick summary of what has been going on...
I am also so proud of my brother Jay who has chosen to go to Haiti in June for ten days. I would love to share this experience with my little brother but with Miss Ohio, I won't be able to go. I wish him all the best and hope he can come home and teach me a few things...
As listed before, my family is currently fostering a little boy. We already love him to death and he fits right in. I cannot release personal information or images for his safety. But, I can tell you that he is such a strong, cute, and funny little guy. He spends most of his time playing basketball (which my brothers love) and is the tallest three year-old I know ! I will be continuing with the updates on my journey and our little guy!
- I held a pajama drive for children in foster care. I collected over 800 brand new pairs of pajamas. The pajamas were then distributed to four Ohio counties.
- My family is now a certified foster family.
- I have been working hard to prepare for Miss Ohio's Outstanding Teen in June!
- I spoke and sang at the Right to Life : Mercer County Send Off
- My family is fostering a little boy now!
